Reverdia’s global commercial management team, together with its newly-hired Business Development Manager Asia, will attend Chinaplas 2016 in Shanghai. Reverdia will exhibit its best-in-class Biosuccinium™ bio-succinic acid at stand N3K11.
Chinaplas offers the perfect opportunity to showcase bio-succinic acid as a feedstock for plastic products. The platform chemical has applications in polyurethanes, polybutylene succinate (PBS), resins and other bio-based plastics. Reverdia has already commercialised Biosuccinium™ for sale and also offers access to its patented technology under license.
Jo Kockelkoren, Global Commercial Director at Reverdia said, “Along with our successful global commercialisation and partnership with key brand-owners, we are confident that Forrest Zhang will bring Reverdia further commercial success in China and Asia, particularly with his strong background in the polyurethane and plastics industries.”
Reverdia is the joint venture between Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, and Roquette Frères, the global starch and starch-derivatives company. Reverdia takes a leadership position and leverages the expertise and experience of DSM and Roquette to produce, market and license Biosuccinium™.
